Carrington Road
Carrington Road, Portwood towards Mellor Street with a Hillman Minx in the foreground. The car belonged to the Lupton family. The car belonged to Norman Lupton who lived at 136 Carrington Road. The family moved when the house was demolished to make way for the M60. The car was passed on to Norman's son who was a trainee architect when the family moved to the Offerton Estate in 1969.
