Midland Railway Station - Hazel Grove

The remains of Hazel Grove's "second station" on the Stockport - Hazel Grove - Derbyshire line. Built in 1902, the station (known as the "Midland") was situated just after the viaduct bridge on Buxton Road. Due to lack of use (and being hard to get to), it was closed in 1917. The photo here was taken in 1949 shortly before it was finally demolished.
