Portwood Cut
Looking west showing the Meadow Mill and T. J. Leigh's. The tower block on Lancashire Hill can be seen on the skyline (Pendlebury Towers). Note the concrete sides of the cut, the place was a popular dumping ground for unwanted rubbish.
