Brunswick House, Portwood
Demolished several years ago to make way for a petrol station, Brunswick House was one of the best known houses in Portwood. Built in c.1855 as the manse for the Minister of Brunswick Methodist Church. In the 1950's it was used as a surgery by Dr. Nightingale and later Dr. Berstock.
